The Radius Indiana region is home to Naval Support Activity Crane. NSA Crane is the third largest naval installation in the world and makes defense a huge economic driver for Southern Indiana. Radius Indiana serves as the voice for Crane outside the gates and assists with growing the private defense sector and connecting Crane with community, regional and state leadership. With direct access to Crane, defense industry companies can connect directly with decision makers.

Naval Surface Warfare Center, Crane Division (NSWC Crane) NSWC Crane’s total focus is to support the Warfighter by leveraging its technical capabilities for the rapidly changing combat environment. Anchored by technical expertise, a strong work ethic and total lifecycle leadership, NSWC Crane’s personnel and preeminent facilities set the standard for excellence in acquisition, engineering and sustainment. NSWC Crane provides comprehensive support for complex military systems spanning design, development, deployment and sustainment in three focus areas:  Electronic Warfare, Strategic Missions and Expeditionary Warfare.

Crane Army Ammunition Activity Established October 1977, Crane Army Ammunition Activity maintains ordnance professionals and infrastructure in order to receive, store, ship, produce, renovate and demilitarize conventional ammunition, missiles and related components. It is located on Naval Support Activity, Crane.

Technology Transfer NSWC Crane’s patent portfolio is a part of Crane’s Technology Transfer (T2) program. T2 seeks to license and collaborate with local individuals, companies and academic institutions for the purpose of transferring government protected innovations for commercialization, ultimately spurring economic development and transfer back into the federal government.

(Feb. 28, 2018) - Radius Indiana held its annual stakeholders luncheon on Tuesday at the French Lick Resort where nearly 150 attendees gathered to learn about the organization's events planned for 2018. Radius also presented, for the first time, the Radius Top 10 Economic Development Projects of the past year.
French Lick, Ind. (Feb. 27, 2018) --- Today, for the first time, Radius Indiana revealed the Top 10 Economic Development Projects from around the region at its annual Stakeholders Meeting at the French Lick Resort. More than 50 projects were submitted by regional stakeholders, who were then asked to vote on the 20 top projects that made the most impact in the Radius region in 2017. More than 100 stakeholders from across the region weighed in to create the list.
BEDFORD, Ind. (Feb. 23, 2018) --- Radius Indiana and South Central Indiana Economic Development partnered to promote their respective Indiana regions as co-hosts of an event for site selectors from Columbus, Ohio business advisory firms last week.
